Deep within a vast forest lives a family unlike any other: a group of magical cats who have made their home together in the wilderness.
But among them is an unusual member: a dragon, who was raised as just another member of this feline family.
His biological mother, a fire dragon, is killed by humans while protecting her egg. Left alone and unable to hatch, the egg’s fate changes when a mother cat, known as Mama Nyan, happens to build her nest in the same cave.
When the dragon finally hatches, Mama Nyan discovers the unexpected baby and, rather than abandoning him, decides to raise him alongside her own kittens.
To the cats, the young dragon is simply an unusual new member of the family. They accept him without question, even though he grows far larger, can fly, even breathes fire.
The dragon develops a deep affection for the mother who gave him a home when he had lost his own and all the forest cats.
One day, Mama Nyan is summoned away by mysterious magic, and for the dragon, her sudden departure is heartbreaking.
Years later, the dragon has become an imposing creature, but the cats still see him as family. Seeing how cruel men can be, the dragon warns them that if any forest cat is harmed, he will do the same to them.
As the years go by, cats and human learn to get along, and even a prince befriends one of them. To the point where the cat begins to teach him magic.
The dragon decides to step up and makes contact with the king, and he decides to sign a pact with the humans.
