Renako spent her middle school years completely isolated from others, introverted and anxious, ending up without a single friend.
But now that she’s starting high school, she’s decided to change. She looks for a school where no one knows her, and with the help of her mother and extroverted sister, she modifies her appearance and behavior.
On the first day of school, Renako decides to start her plan immediately and ends up getting close to Mai, a beautiful young woman who ends up being the most admired student in the entire school.
What’s more, Renako is suddenly surrounded by a group of extroverted and very attractive girls who talk nonstop.
For Renako, it’s very exhausting, and she suddenly has to take some time alone, or she’s going to literally explode. While the group eats lunch, she decides to go to the school rooftop to take a break.
Mai follows her to see if she’s okay, and when she sees her at the edge of the railing, she runs over, yelling at her not to do anything crazy. Renako doesn’t think about doing anything, but in surprise, she ends up falling.
Surprisingly, Mai jumps toward her and tells her not to worry, that she’s very lucky and nothing will happen to them. And sure enough, they fall into a tree and aren’t hurt.
Then, Renako confesses to Mai about her anxiety. Upon hearing this, Mai also dares to confess that it isn’t easy for her either.
Renako tells her she can trust her, and feeling unconditionally accepted, Mai feels she’s fallen in love with her.
