Ito is a high school student, whose life is about to change dramatically. During spring break, as she finishes her first year of high school, Ito is preparing to move after her mother remarries.
She is excited about starting a new life with her mother and her new father, imagining that the transition will be relatively simple. Instead, when she arrives at her new home, she discovers that she suddenly has four younger brothers.
The four Narita brothers couldn’t be more different. Gen, the eldest, is quiet and somewhat intimidating, although he clearly cares about his family.
Raku, the second brother, is calm, collected, and friendly. Hiiragi, the third, is a shut-in who rarely comes out of his room, and Louis, the youngest, who quickly makes himself comfortable around his new older sister.
Determined to make a good impression, Ito throws herself into household chores. She wants to help her new family and, prove that she can be a dependable older sister.
However, her efforts don’t immediately have the desired effect. Gen, in particular, remains distant and difficult to read.
Their personalities seem to clash, and what should be a warm family introduction instead becomes an awkward first attempt at finding common ground.
Fortunately for Ito, things finally begin to change when they start communicating. Rather than trying to force a perfect family atmosphere, Ito gets an opportunity to simply spend time with her new brothers.
