In the coastal resort town of Atami, Wakana has established herself with her laundry business and is already known for her attention to detail and warm personality.
Her routine is meticulously planned, and she manages the business entirely on her own. Although at times she seems pensive, as if something is missing.
After making a home delivery, she returns to reopen the shop, and one of her regular customers is waiting at the entrance.
When the customer shows her the clothes, Wakana notices a tomato sauce stain on one of the garments. Wakana assures her that she will do everything she can to remove it.
Later, Asami, another customer, arrives to pick up her clothes and mentions that her husband is very pleased with Wakana’s work on his suits.
This makes the young woman very happy, and she even shares some of her cleaning secrets with Asami, demonstrating just how meticulous she is in her work.
Taking advantage of the location, she often goes to a hot spring resort in the evenings, but even then, she decides to return to work for a while longer.
In the morning, she usually goes for a walk or a run, and along the way, she notices a young man sweeping the street, Kyuushou, who catches her attention.
Kyuushou later appears at Wakana’s shop, confirming her suspicion that he is the son of an acquaintance.
Wakana receives the clothes to be laundered, but in the process, she notices a scratch mark on Kyuushou’s shoe, and due to her meticulous nature, she doesn’t hesitate to touch it up and polish it without asking permission.
Wakana apologizes to the young man and asks him not to be upset. He simply observes with curiosity how professional she is.
