Aoi is a highly regarded surgeon who has a reputation for saving lives in extreme situations.
She doesn’t hesitate to do her best, even under the worst medical prescription. And thanks to her knowledge and habilities she practically performs miracles.
Aoi is able to intervene and save a cancer patient who was on the verge of death. And she is unselfish enough to aid and guide other surgeons.
Then, we meet Shouko, one of Aoi’s coworkers inviting her to have dinner and eat her favorite desserts.
At the restaurant, Shouko introduces a fellow doctor to Aoi. They are raving talking about Aoi’s surgical prowess. However, on her side, Aoi knows she has been given a second chance to amend her spoiled behavior in a long gone life.
As an orphan, Aoi decided at a young age to help others, trying to make up for her misdeeds by saving as many people as possible.
The evening comes to an end and Aoi prepares to fly to Germany to operate a critically ill patient. She boards the flight, remembering her past life, longin to see her parents and older siblings.
Suddenly the plane has a catastrophic malfunction and starts descending at a high speed.
The plane crashes, however, she manages to survive and starts helping other passengers. She is able to help several injured persons, and as soon as she sees a helicopter approach the crashing site she falls down covered in her own blood and loses her life.
Her final thoughts take her back in time to her past life, where she was Elise, a bad behaved princess an empire. Before her dies and the kingdom’s decline due to her fault, she is once again, given a new chance to do the right thing.
With all her memories intact, Elise decides to turn her life around, and as soon as she hurries to the dining room to see her family, her eyes welling up with tears.
