Itsuki is almost an ordinary high school student whose life is anything but easy. Coming from a poor family, he works multiple part-time jobs to keep himself in school.
His difficult situation gets even worse when his irresponsible parents suddenly leave, taking most of the money he saved to continue his education.
Things take an even stranger turn when Itsuki unexpectedly becomes involved in the kidnapping of Hinako, the daughter of one of Japan’s wealthiest and most influential families.
Hinako seems to be the definition of a perfect lady: beautiful, elegant, intelligent, and seemingly capable of handling anything. She attends an elite school filled with students from wealthy and powerful families, where maintaining appearances is extremely important.
But the kidnapping quickly reveals that there is much more to Hinako than her public image.
Itsuki and Hinako find themselves caught up in the dangerous situation together. Despite the circumstances, Hinako remains surprisingly calm, and Itsuki instinctively tries to help her.
After the incident, Hinako becomes interested in Itsuki, and decides that he should take care of her, and after meeting with her father, Itsuki is hired.
The biggest surprise, however, comes when Itsuki discovers what Hinako is really like away from school. Behind closed doors, the supposedly perfect heiress has almost no ability to handle her.
Itsuki’s life has taken an extraordinary turn. The struggling student who was already fighting to stay afloat is suddenly connected to one of the richest girls in the country.
