Orhun and Oliver dream of becoming successful adventurers, and as they grow up, they start their own group.
Orhun is a skilled swordsman, and Oliver is a reliable leader. However, not being the most naturally gifted, Orhun is asked to become a mage.
Their success is so great that they begin to be called heroes. However, one night Oliver, Derrick, and Anneli visit Orhun and tell him they are disappointed with his work as a mage.
He reminds them that he was a swordsman before and that he has worked hard to compensate for his weaknesses. He has even designed new spells to help them.
The explanation is useless; Oliver tells him they already have his replacement ready. Feeling betrayed by his friend, Orhun decides to leave, but before he does, Anneli doesn’t hesitate to tell him that his skills are basic if he wants to be the best.
Afterward, Orhun decides that the sword is his true calling, but taking advantage of what he learned as a mage, he begins to explore dungeons alone.
He immediately runs into trouble. Some adventurers are fleeing from a group of orcs and say they abandoned a new girl. Orhun scolds them and asks them to show him the direction she went.
Inside, Sophia is struggling to stay alive. The orcs corner her and begin to attack. Exhausted, she watches as Orhun begins to defend her, and in an instant, he defeats them.
Sophia thanks him for his help and asks if she can buy him dinner as a thank you. Embarrassed, Orhun accepts. Upon arriving at the restaurant, they run into Selma, Sophia’s sister, who is considered the best mage in the city.
Seeing them together, she is initially annoyed, but upon learning that Orhun has left his group, she asks him to help her train several young adventurers, and with nothing to lose, he accepts.
