Akira doesn’t stand out much in his class; in fact, very few are even aware of his existence.
One day, while reading during recess, something happens, and the entire class finds itself in another world. As if it were a fantasy story, they are informed that there is a hero among them, but that everyone possesses extraordinary abilities to help him defeat evil.
Without further details, the students begin to be evaluated, but when Akira looks at his stats, he notices something strange.
He has been assigned to the assassin class, but for some reason, some of his abilities are already maxed, such as the ability to conceal his presence.
Seeing that the hero’s level is much lower than his own, Akira decides to hide and not reveal his power. That same day, he puts himself to the test and visits the room where the king orders that students be prevented from accessing the kingdom’s archives.
Akira understands that the king is hiding something and infiltrates the room behind him, but even though he has the power to end his life, he doesn’t.
Akira decides to investigate further on his own, and Saran, one of the kingdom’s knights, intercepts him while he’s loitering in the archives. Thanks to a special ability, Saran was able to detect him, but instead of exposing him, he tells Akira he’ll help him hone his other skills so that he can one day return home.
Saran acknowledges that his kingdom is poorly governed, but he owes his loyalty to the royal family. However, after a few days, Akira discovers an unusual book in the archives, and when he shows it to Saran, he reveals that he himself wrote a plan to overthrow the king.
(暗殺者である俺のステータスが勇者よりも明らかに強いのだが)
