Miyu is a very colorful high school student who loves to dress up and paint her nails.
Every morning, she gets ready with excitement because sitting next to her is Yusuke, a boy whose personality is completely different from hers.
Miyu looks for any excuse to talk to him, although sometimes it ends up seeming like she’s just being mischievous.
Yusuke doesn’t show any noticeable reaction and simply answers when Miyu asks him something.
One afternoon, Yusuke and Miyu meet after school, and she works up the courage to ask him where he’s going. It turns out it’s the same way to her house, and they decide to walk together.
Miyu doesn’t know what to talk about, so she tells Yusuke about a hamburger she ate a few days ago. She’s not sure if it’s interesting, but he asks her if it was good.
Miyu asks him if he’d like to go with her to get hamburgers, and to her surprise, Yusuke says that would be fine.
Confused, she knows Yusuke wouldn’t joke around like that, but the more she thinks about it, the more nervous she gets.
In an instant, their hands touch, and Yusuke takes her hand without a word. Miyu only hears his heartbeat and thinks his hand is sweating.
At home, she can’t stop thinking about what happened and ends up staying up all night. The next morning, she arrives at school around noon.
Out of nowhere, one of her classmates asks her if she’s dating Yusuke. Miyu tries to deny it, just as he walks into the classroom.
The rest of the day, Miyu tries to apologize, but at the end of the day, Yusuke is the one who apologizes for taking her hand.
At that moment, Miyu panics, and when her friends ask her what’s wrong, she simply confesses that she likes Yusuke.
They support her, and tell her to go after Yusuke, and Miyu does that and more, confessing her feelings to him.
