Some time ago, Yuu began to drift away from his talented mother, Subaru. Unfortunately, she became seriously ill and eventually passed away.
In her final days, Yuu was able to reconnect with her, but the feeling of emptiness has stayed with him to this day. Despite this, Yuu understands that he doesn’t possess any of his mother’s immense talent and learns to accept himself as he is.
However, after Mr. Mikadono recommends him for admission to Saika Academy, where prodigies from all over the country gather to hone their skills, Yuu fails to get into the advanced courses.
Nevertheless, rumors spread that the son of the talented actress Subaru has entered Saika, and he immediately attracts attention, so much so that he is challenged by “the royalty,” the three daughters of Mr. Mikadono.
Each of them is admired for their achievements: Kazuki is a great actress, followed by Niko, the captain of the karate team, and finally Miwa, an academic prodigy and professional shogi player.
Upon meeting Yuu, they are deeply disappointed. But from disappointment comes surprise, because later, the young man appears at the Mikadono sisters’ house and informs them that their father has allowed him to live with them.
Yuu is determined to have a happy family and hopes to get along with the Mikadono sisters, but he immediately discovers that despite living together, the girls don’t get along and lead lives full of stress and disorder.
Mr. Mikadono asks him to support them in achieving their goals, although to begin with, Yuu prefers them to have a proper meal and live in a clean environment.
