All his life, Beryl has practiced and taught the art of the sword, and now in his 40s, he can boast that several of his disciples have achieved success in life.
However, for his father, that’s not enough, and he always chides him for not having given him grandchildren to care for and love.
But living in a remote region, Beryl is more concerned with keeping his dojo active than looking for a girlfriend.
One day, Allucia, one of his students, appears at his house and informs him that, as the leader of the Liberion Order of Knights, she has recommended him to join as an instructor.
Forced by his father, Beryl cannot refuse to listen to Allucia, who tells him that he must at least comply with the order to show up for the appointment.
Allucia is more than excited to see her master, whom he admires unconditionally. And she doesn’t hesitate to present him with an unbeatable opportunity to also continue managing his dojo.
Beryl agrees, but to his surprise, upon returning home, his father informs her that he’ll have to move out full-time, and that one of his students has returned to take his place.
Beryl eventually returns to Allucia and asks her for help finding a place to live. At that moment, a threatening voice addresses Allucia.
The adventurer Surena constantly criticizes her when she sees her with a man in the middle of the day. But as soon as she sees it’s her fellow teacher Beryl, she immediately changes her tone of voice.
Surena has been very successful as an adventurer and apologizes for not having had time to visit him at the dojo. In the end, both girls help Beryl, who is about to discover that his skills are not those of an old man, but those of an expert.
