Since childhood, Yuke’s dream has been to explore the limits of the world he lives in, so he and his friend Simon decide to become adventurers.
After five years of becoming, their group has achieved success and are considered elite. However, Yuke is fed up, as an alchemist and mage, he is in charge of supporting the other members, but he spends a lot of money doing so and his pay is always the lowest.
The rest of the adventurers are type A, and Yuke is type B. With that argument, Simon tells him that he should be grateful for the opportunity to work with them.
Barry, Camilla, and Jamie agree that Yuke doesn’t do anything important, since he doesn’t fight and is always behind them.
Yuke decides to leave them and the next day goes to the Adventurers’ Guild to join a new party to work.
But before he can do so, Marina, a former student and swordswoman, tells him he should join her group, which already includes two of his students, Silk and Rain.
Yuke doesn’t hesitate to accept her invitation, and as he evaluates what the girls have learned from him, he realizes they are now true adventurers.
Meanwhile, they are amazed by Yuke’s abilities, having forgotten what it feels like to be recognized for their efforts and skills, he begins to have fun again.
It doesn’t take long before their group, called Clover, begins to attract attention, while Simon and his group discover that Yuke’s support is what makes them invincible.
