From a young age, Minato could see things others couldn’t. His grandfather told him he had a gift, one that would surely serve him well when he grew up.
At the time, he told him that what he saw were spirits, and that he should treat them well, leaving them an offering whenever possible.
Several years later, his family asked him to go to the countryside and look after a property. On the way, Minato was curiously observed by Saiga, who was on his way to work.
As they approached the house, Minato sensed something strange, but in an instant, everything was calm, much lighter, as if the property had been freed of a certain energy.
One of Minato’s notes flew out in the commotion, and when it landed near a shrine in the woods, the same thing happened, and a spirit was released.
Minato contacted his family and told them he didn’t understand why the property hadn’t been rented; it was relatively new and even had a garden.
So, when he hires a gardener, things start to look up, and suddenly a creature is seen approaching. Minato knows it’s a spirit, so he offers it something to eat and drink, and to his surprise, Yamagami answers, telling him that he is the guardian spirit of the mountain.
As the days go by, Minato continues his routine and takes the opportunity to make offerings to Yamagami every day, which restores the spirit’s strength, allowing it to summon Torika and Seri, a pair of helpers.
Meanwhile, we discover that Saiga is part of a group of exorcists, and when a powerful spirit escapes toward the village, he is shocked to see it collide with Minato and vanish immediately.
Minato’s powers are more impressive than he could have imagined, and now they will be put to the test.
