All sorts of stories happen in this city. Tatewaku and her younger sister Matsuri talk about the Western horoscope.
And although she claims not to believe in it, Matsuri convinces her brother that for good fortune, one must wear a lucky item, and in her case, it’s the miniskirt.
Tsurubishi, their father, watches his children and tells his son that if he wants to increase his luck and play in the next soccer game, he should wear the miniskirt, not just hold it in his hands.
He finally puts the miniskirt on, only for his father and sister to take pictures and start sending them around the world.
In the afternoon, Midori arrives at work at Tsurubishi’s restaurant. He greets her and asks her to deliver some fried noodles to a customer. He trips, and the food ends up in a briefcase next to the customer.
Tsurubishi asks Midori not to say anything; after all, his customer hasn’t noticed the accident. But Midori tells him it’s impossible to hide it and that they should apologize or flee the scene.
Tsurubishi doesn’t want to be yelled at, and suggests that Midori trick him. They decide to offer him a complimentary glass of wine while he takes the briefcase away.
Midori approaches the customer while Tsurubishi prepares more fried noodles; however, everything ends in tragedy when the wine cork hits the customer, and the noodles fall back into the briefcase.
While they apologize, Tatewaku arrives after delivering an order. He’s happy that Midori accepted the job. When she tells them she has homework, she grabs the briefcase—which was hers—and ends up burning herself.
He doesn’t understand why he’s had such bad luck all day; after all, he wore the miniskirt as his horoscope indicated.
