Melphiera is the daughter of a nobleman. Her appearance is impeccable, and her manners are exactly what you would expect of a lady.
It’s not uncommon to see her enjoying a snack while admiring the scenery in a park, and she naturally attracts the attention of gentlemen.
One day, a man from a good family approaches her and tells her that what she’s eating looks delicious. She offers him a bite, but when he asks what kind of meat they’re eating, Melphiera informs him that it’s a monster.
The girl is different, and she’s obsessed with discovering new flavors, even if they come from poisonous monsters. And for this reason, she’s been branded the “Voracious Villainess.”
Melphiera is at the age where she should be considering her future, and at home, she’s forced to go to a party in search of suitors, but given her reputation, no one approaches her.
Fed up, after eating, she decides to leave the party. At that moment, a monster appears and causes terror. Melphiera knows she must leave, but she notices an elderly couple struggling and decides to help them.
Melphiera ends up attracting the monster’s attention, and just as it seems about to attack her, Aristide, known as the “Blood-Mad Duke,” appears and slits the monster’s throat in one swift motion. Instead of being frightened, Melphiera is shocked, and he is surprised to meet the woman known as the “Voracious Villainess.”
Aristide and Melphiera begin to talk, and they become interested in each other. Seeing that her dress is stained with blood, Aristide takes Melphiera and asks her to accompany him.
He is intrigued by what Melphiera tells him about the taste of monster meat, and he promises to hunt something different, provided she invites him to eat.
