Now, let’s talk about the upcoming anime season, 2024 was a good year as a whole, bus as usual, they new year tends to slow down a bit. However, the Winter Anime Season 2025 is ready and comes with new titles.
We begin the new year meeting Hana, who lives in Tonakijima, a small island with only 600 inhabitants. In Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku, she loves to read all sort of literature to the children, and she simply hypnotizes them. The president of the school’s broadcasting club recognizes Hana’s abilities and invites her to join the club, without knowing, she could end up changing the course of her own life.
Then we jump to another world, where an adorable house cat ends up becoming an S-Ranked monster. In S Rank Monster no “Behemoth” Dakedo, Neko to Machigawarete Elf Musume no Pet to Shite Kurashitemasu, after dying in a fight against evil, a knight is reborn as one of the most powerful monsters in the world! But one day, an adventurer rescues him, rather than finishing him off, she ends up taking care of him.
Also in another world, as a boy, Light dreamed of becoming an adventurer. In Hazure Skill “Kinomi Master”: Skill no Mi (Tabetara Shinu) o Mugen ni Taberareru You ni Natta Ken ni Tsuite, Light goes to the temple to receive a skill fruit, and obtains the Nut Master skill which only improves farming abilities. He is forced to work as a farmer, and although he was warned that eating a second skill fruit is fatal. His unique skill allows him to eat as many skill fruits as he wants to obtain multiple skills.
Meanwhile, in our world for a little while, Denosuke is a common salaryman. In Salaryman ga Isekai ni Ittara Shitennou ni Natta Hanashi, one day he is summoned to another world by the Demon Overlord, who offers him a new job in his army, with full benefits! Denosuke doesn’t have the muscles, but instead he has the brains.
Then, we return to Earth, to the Ten’ikai General Hospital’s Supervisory Department of Diagnostic Pathology to be more precise. In Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte, Takao is a brilliant doctor that handles cases other physicians deem too difficult to treat. Along the way, bizarre mysteries surface, from unexplained illnesses to strange murders even the police can’t solve.
Having said that, a great mystery is how a couple of high school students end up married. In Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon Suru Koto ni Natta, Saitou is married to Akane, who is no other than his worst enemy in school. He is always threatened by her not to say a thing about their relationship. Their newlywed life is constantly at odds, but the distance between them closes, and thy begin to enjoy some moments together.
Later, Tsukasa, a normal salaryman, is attacked by demons and is saved by a brilliant kunoichi, Shizuri. In NEET Kunoichi to Naze ka Dousei Hajimemashita, Tsukasa finds out that when she is not working, she becomes an otaku NEET. For some reason, they end up living together, and Tsukasa starts enjoying taking care of her.
And talking about geniuses, after graduating from high school, Natsuko starts her career as an animator. In Zenshu, her talent is for real, and she makes her debut as a director in no time. Her first anime becomes a massive hit, and she becomes a social phenomenon. Now, her next project is set to be a romantic comedy movie, however, sh has never been in love before, and is struggling to visualize the storyboard.
In a fantasy world, Leticia has been betrothed to Crown Prince Clarke since the age of seven. In Kisaki Kyouiku kara Nigetai Watashi, she was once a free-spirited child, but the strict education to make her a fit future princess, was driving her crazy. Her only hope is that the prince finds someone else, and one day Clarke shows up to a royal ball with an unknown woman, and Leticia presumed her engagement has been broken off. She wastes no time and moves to an easygoing countryside life, but the prince shows up and claims she’s still his fiancée.
Jumping to another world, Alina signed up to be a receptionist for the Adventurers Guild thinking she would live the good life. In Guild no Uketsukejou Desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nano de Boss o Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu, unfortunately, her dream turns into an overtime nightmare every time the adventurers get stuck clearing a dungeon. And to save herself from a mountain of paperwork, she decides to beat down monsters to solve the problems.
Finally, in a fantasy world where jobs are given by god, Ein’s becomes an “appraiser” as far from a “hero” as possible. In Fuguu-shoku “Kanteishi” ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta, he is used, abused and abandoned by adventurers. One day, Ein decides to abandon that lifestyle, at that moment, he discovers that his worthless skill might be the key to become a hero.
