The first impression that Torako gives is one of confidence and security, not only is she the best in her class, she now leads the student council and everyone at school admires her.
However, what they don’t know is that in middle school, Torako was known as Tiger of Hino, a nickname feared among the same delinquents or Yankees, as they are also known in Japan.
As she entered high school, Torarko decided to change her way of behaving, but that doesn’t mean she was able to change her nature.
One morning, on her way to school, Torako keeps greeting other students with cordiality and a big smile. Suddenly, she notices something strange, a girl is hanging from the cables near a pole.
Torako thinks that something very serious has happened, especially when she notices that the girl hanging has a pair of deer horns coming out of her head.
Torako tries to ignore her and decides to walk to school, but from above, the girl tells her that if she doesn’t help her, it will be on her conscience.
Finally, Torako helps the girl, Noko, down and immediately runs to school.
Classes begin, and the homeroom teacher announces that they will have a new classmate. At that moment, Noko enters, smashing the door with her antlers.
Instead of being alarmed, everyone in the class is excited to see her, without questioning why the girl looks like a deer.
Noko sees Torako and does not hesitate to greet her effusively, she tries to hide it and tells him her name, and even asks him to call her whatever he wants.
Noko does not hesitate to call her Yankee, which alarms the rest of the class and drives Torako crazy.
When she asks her why she wants to give her that nickname, Noko tells her that in her eyes she seems to be a delinquent, and wonders why she helped her in the morning.
Later, Torako tries to avoid Noko, but Noko looks for her everywhere to thank her for her help, and surprises her by leaving some deer cookies on her desk.
Noko is a mystery, and Torako thinks that at any moment she will end up exposing her act. On her way out, she sees her cleaning a room and decides to help her.
When she finishes, her teacher comes in and congratulates Torako on becoming the president of the school’s new Deer Club.
