Saku works in a big corporate company, she lives her life without big worries, she is somewhat clumsy, but efficient in what she does.
Some time ago, she found an abandoned little cat, and since she lives alone, she decided to adopt it and name it Yukichi.
What she did not expect is for the cat to grow so much, and even more, that he would start to take care of the housework at her apartment, including cooking and doing the bathroom.
Saku doesn’t think much about it, and she appreciates Yukichi taking care of her and pampering her every day. On the other hand, Yukichi loves to feel useful, and he doesn’t hesitate to celebrate every time he cooks something delicious for her owner.
One day in her office, her co-worker, Yuri, sees her looking at photos on her computer and she does not hesitate to approach her and ask her not to visit dating sites before lunch.
Saku is surprised and shows her the photos of the biggest cat in the world. But Yukichi is taller than her, and of course, he knows how to cook.
Despite having an exceptional cat, Saku doesn’t tell anyone in the office everything that’s going on with him, in fear of causing a commotion.
Days later, Yuri hands Saku an old cat bed, hoping it will be useful for Yukichi. She decides to hand it over to him, though in the end, the cat ends up wearing it as a helmet.
Yukichi is overjoyed, and in order to thank Yuri, he decides to bake her madeleines. And as soon as she handles them to Yuri, other office peers begin to compliment Saku, telling her that she would become the perfect wife one day. However, in reality, she would be the complete opposite.
At the end of the week, Saku is surprised by her boss Kaoru, a successful executive who spends more time traveling than at the office.
Kaoru talks to Saku, and suddenly asks how her cat is doing. She can’t believe her ears, but Kaoru even tells her that he once met with him.
Saku is left with doubts about Kaoru’s words, and although she wanted to ask him more about it, she will have to wait, because he will leave on a trip the following week.
Without another concern, as always, when she arrives at home, Yukichi receives her with a delicious feast.
