For as long as he remembers, Haruka has been harassed by the way he looks, he has not had time to relax, but instead of falling victim, he always fight back, and he is good with his fists.
The time has come and he has decided to embrace his future with a fight, and if he is meant to be ostracized, he will not go down easily. To do it, he has decided to enter one of the most problematic high schools in the country: Furin.
One day before the new year begins, Haruka takes a walk in his new town. Used to drawing the wrong attention, he bumps with some guys who are bothering a young woman, Kotoha.
Haruka doesn’t want her to thank him for saving her, all he wants is make a bold statement, to remember his name and that he plans to rise atop in Furin.
Haruka beats the hell out of them and Kotoha doesn’t seem especially surprised. To thank him, she takes him to the restaurant she works and serves him lunch.
Haruka is not used to be treated with kindness and is a bit confused, still, once an elder leaves the restaurant, he rushes to remind him he is leaving a package behind.
For a though guy like him, Kotoha thinks he is quite kind, but as soon as she tells him that, Haruka leaves her restaurant angry.
At the street, a ruckus starts once the guys Haruka beat earlier return looking for him. They try to intimidate him, but instead, he ends up fighting all of them.
Haruka is in shape and defends himself pretty well, but once Kotoha appears, she is taken hostage. Haruka is annoyed, but doesn’t hesitate to protect her.
Unfortunately, he is attacked and ends up hurt in an ankle. Despite this, he doesn’t falther, and ends up confused when Kotoha tells him he will learn why the town stopped being violent.
Suddenly, other Furin High students appear, and once they start fighting back the mobsters, Haruka starts listening the cheer from the inhabitants.
Haruka cannot believe what is happening, and is terrified once an elder neighbor approaches him to heal his wound. Kotoha tells him to relax, and that once he attends classes he will understand why the town folks are thankful to the Furin High students.
