Noel’s grandfather is a hero, one of those that no longer exist in the world. He possesses a very special power as a Seeker, but more than that, he has the will to be the best.
One night, the town they live in is attacked, and his grandfather orders him to remain hidden while he goes out to work.
The battle is fierce, and tragically, Noel’s grandfather is mortally wounded. Despite this, he has the opportunity to say goodbye to his grandson, who assures him that he will be as strong as him one day.
But Noel’s wishes will not be so easy to achieve, since unlike his grandfather, he does not have Seeker abilities, but rather Talker abilities, the class they consider the weakest.
However, thanks to what he learned from his grandfather, Noel does not waste his time lamenting what he is not, and instead seeks to develop his abilities to the fullest.
He remains determined to be the strongest, and to achieve this he knows that he needs to surround himself with strong people.
At the moment he works with three other adventurers, Walter, Tanya and the leader, Lloyd. And after some time, they have started to gain notoriety and money, so Noel tells Lloyd that it is time to invest to form of a Clan.
To do so, they must invest everything they have earned, but in exchange they could aspire to better jobs and rewards. Reluctantly, Lloyd agrees, and tells Noel and Walter that they will meet in a few days.
Lloyd and Tanya betray them and flee the city. And although Noel seems to be a noble guy, he is actually ambitious and will not allow himself to be robbed in this way.
To Walter’s surprise, Noel sets out on a ruthless hunt, and once he finds Lloyd and Tanya, he discovers that they bet their money and lost everything.
Noel shows his true character, and does not hesitate to negotiate with Finocchio, so that he could offer them as slaves, allowing him to recover the money and continue with his plans.
