It seems that the world won’t slow down with the chaos in the upcoming months. We are on the brink of even more troubles, and it’s getting more complicated to remain calm, and silent.
However, we are not here to get depressed, instead, to find a time to organize around the Summer Anime Season 2025, have some fun and a simple way to deal with everything that is going on around us.
Let’s begin meeting Clevatess, the lord of all magical beasts, who wields both uncanny intellect and destructive power. In Clevatess: Majuu no Ou to Akago to Shikabane no Yuusha, frustrated by Alicia and 13 heroes, he has decided to be rid of humanity once and for all. However, before that, he is supposed to take care of a newborn human baby.
In our world, Keiichirou used to be a teen detective, but now at the age of 35 he feels like completely burn out and hungry. In Mattaku Saikin no Tantei to Kitara, one day, an excitable high school girl named Mashiro asks to become his apprentice. She will be the spark Nagumo needs to reclaim his passion for detective work?
Meanwhile, Uta loves to sing, but she’s really shy, if not a bit of a coward. In Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille, she wants to join the light music club, but she’s too intimidated by the dazzling presence of the members to submit her application. In her moment of despair, she receives an invitation to join the a cappella club, filled with some odd characters from the president, Airi.
Then we jump into a parallel universe, where a delinquent named Takeru has appeared after an accident. In Onmyou Kaiten Re:verse, for his surprise, he finds Tsukimiya, literally the girl of his dreams in that world. One day, they are slayed by a monster, but somehow Takeru leaps in time and finds her unharmed. Now he decides to train to fight for his and her life.
And now we jump ahead in time, after humanity was devastated by a major disaster. In Kamitsubaki-shi Kensetsuchuu, science is able to flourish, however, lurking in the shadows are monsters born from human darkness. Now, only a group of five girls stand against them. They fight, not just to protect the peace of their city, but to heal a broken world.
And what if the world was dominated by cats? In Nyaight of the Living Cat, a virus which turns anyone who touches a cat into a cat has spread into a worldwide pandemic… or nyandemic? Cats rub against people, turning them into cats. Can humanity fight their urge to pet cats to survive extinction?
Later, we find Allen, a promising sorcerer who has failed the final exam for his dream job. In Koujo Denka no Kateikyoushi, he wants nothing more than to retreat to a simple life, but he can’t even afford it and finds a job as a tutor of Tina, the daughter of one of the kingdom’s most powerful nobles. Despite her academic brilliance, Tina is incapable of casting a single spell, and she is supposed to enroll in a prestigious Royal Academy.
Then, in another world we meet Toto, an E-rank adventurer who is physically imposing, but suffers a crippling form of shyness. In Kizetsu Yuusha to Ansatsu Hime, 3 female assassins named Anemone, Ciel, and Gore, convince him to form a party with them. However, the three assassins are plotting a way to kill him, and each one takes a daily turn to accomplish it.
And if you talk about betrayal, Dennis has been exiled from one of the strongest guilds around. In Tsuihousha Shokudou e Youkoso!, he was dying to use his level 99 cooking skills and decides to open up a diner in the countryside. While pursuing his dream, Dennis meets Atrielle, a girl exiled from her noble household and relegated to slavery until he saves her. Then, among their clients are an exiled knight, a cocky mage and an overworked sage.
But if you think that’s unfortunate, you have to meet Shigeru, wrongly convicted of a crime, who loses everything, including his trust in women, and ends up as an unemployed recluse. In Busamen Gachi Fighter, one day, he finds his way to another world. And when a status screen appears, Shigeru decides to completely sacrifice his looks to gain overwhelming power and begins his second life in another world.
Finally, about trusting women, Tsuyoshi is a college student who has admired Yui since his childhood. In Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuuhai no Aji ga Shite, she is a married woman, and due to his part time job, Tsuyoshi ends up delivering Yui more than expected. What begins as an innocent connection soon escalates into something far more intimate, comic and dangerous.
