From a very young age, Philia has been forced to learn how to become a Saint, a very important figure for the kingdoms of this world.
As Saint of Ziltonia, Philia must ensure the happiness of the citizens, and above all, their safety, as various monsters prowl the cities, and thanks to her magical barriers, the creatures never come near.
Despite her grueling and important work, few people know exactly what Philia does, starting with her fiancé, Julius, the second prince of the kingdom.
Philia’s personality is stoic, and she is never seen smiling. In comparison, her younger sister, Mia, is admired and loved by everyone in the city.
One day, Julius calls Philia and informs her that their engagement is over, and that he will marry Mia instead. Furthermore, he has decided to sell her to the kingdom of Parnacorta, who recently lost their Saint.
Philia doesn’t have a chance to say anything; even her parents are happy that Mia will be Julius’s wife. Without allowing her to say goodbye to her sister, the girl is immediately escorted out of the city.
On her way to Parnacorta, Philia imagines she’ll live the rest of her life as a slave; after all, they paid a high price for her.
But upon arrival, very strange things begin to happen. A prince comes to fetch her at the border, and she meets another at a welcoming party.
The next day, Philia prepares to begin her work as a Saint and tries to leave alone for the mountains, but Leonardo and Lina, her assistants, insist on accompanying her.
Meanwhile, not everything is going well in Ziltonia, and Mia is struggling to keep up with her sister. And she believes it’s impossible that her sister left on her own account without a word to her.
