As a teenager, Simureko could not hide his passion when writing the stories that came from his imagination.
Proud of her work, she could not hide her joy when she won different awards.
At her time, she was the best young novelist, but today, depressed, she tends one of the few bookstores left in the city.
As we know, being an adult is not easy, especially if in your youth you had unexpected success. And Sumireko is suffering from creative block, obsessed with being recognized again.
On her 28th birthday, under the watchful eye of young Ren, her co-worker, their boss gives her a strange book, knowing that Sumireko loves books.
At her house, Sumireko reflects on her life, and she thinks it would be nice to be young again and be able to write like she did then.
While she gazes the moon, she begins to go through the book she received and finds it very peculiar, or rather curious. It is an old anthology of poetry, and reading it aloud unleashes unexpected changes in her.
Suddenly, Sumireko wakes up and her clothes don’t fit well, her body has returned to what it was years ago, but the curiosity is that only the outside of her has shrunk.
In this state, Sumireko stops going to work and Ren begins to suspect that something is not right. When he is sent to visit Sumireko he begins to understand that something supernatural is happening.
When he finally finds Sumireko, he asks her what has happened and discovers that there is hidden magic in the book. He explains to her that under certain conditions it activates and that if she doesn’t do something, she could die.
Sumireko tells him that for years she has not felt like writing so much and that she does not want to change, but her adult body cannot resist the container of a girl and she begins to put her life at risk.
Finally, Ren convinces Sumireko and takes the book from her. Later, in the darkness, Ren enters a desolate place, in which he gets rid of the book stopping it from harming others.
