Suzune and Kazuki are on top of the school council, they usually walk proud, full of confidence.
Basically, they are admired by their intelligence and their looks. They seem so close to each other than everyone thinks they are dating.
On the other hand is Ken, a simple guy who prefers to run a low profile and stay out of troubles.
One day, rain is pouring and Ken runs to grab his umbrella and go home, however, someone took it, leaving him with a dilemma. There is one umbrella left, but it is not his, and he does not want to cause someone else a bad time.
Ken prefers to wait for the rain to end, at that moment, Suzune shows up and starts talking to him. A bit later, Kazuki shows up and grabs the last umbrella.
For Ken’s surprise, Kazuki recognizes him and even knows his name. He tells Ken to take his spare umbrella and walk home with them.
At that moment, Ken feels special because he is walking with the most popular students and they are kind and funny. Suzune asks him about his future plans after school, he tells her he has no special plans, and she answers back with no idea either.
In the middle of the road, Suzune and Kazuki claim to listen to strange noises, however, Ken doesn’t. Suddenly, a strange circle brights the floor they are standing on.
Ken and Kazuki are a bit scared, but Suzune seems quite amuzed, and once Ken suggests it might be some sort of portal, her eyes open with excitement, breaking her image of perfection to Ken.
The three wake up in the middle of a Royal Palace, and they are informed they have been summoned as heroes to save the kingdom.
Suzune thinks this is a great chance to find more about her future, Ken is not that worried, but Kazuki is enraged and demands to be sent back home.
The king says he doesn’t know how to do it, but promises them he will do it if they help them. Everyone accepts his conditions and are sent to appraise their new powers.
Heroes are meant to be rare and special, and Suzune and Kazuki are exactly what the kingdom is searching, but Ken ends up summoned without accomplish the requirements.
In the end, Ken does have powers, but as a rare healer, which will turn Rose, the sole healer in the kingdom to go nuts and practically kidnap Ken to turn him into her apprentice.
