They say that Belle appeared from inside a strange rock, and from the beginning it was clear that she was not normal, at least for this world.
She is surprised to see people with animal characteristics communicating with others without problems, but she, without fur, ears or a distinctive tail, is rejected.
Alone, she survives, and while wandering through the city she is drawn to a government complex, and inside a room she finds an immense sword.
Belle feels an attraction she had never had before, she simply believes she has found a friend to keep her company.
The girl tries to remove the sword from its place and is immediately apprehended.
The sword is not a common weapon, it is known as Runding, and only the chosen ones can carry it. Upon seeing it, one of the knights named Cyan decides to take care of the girl.
Over the years, Cyan teaches Belle to control the power of Runding, and everything she can, to allow her to survive in a world that does not accept her for being different.
One day, Cyan receives a request from a village, as a strange monster has taken over the local lake and is destroying the ecosystem.
Cyan decides to send Belle, and of course, upon arrival she is constantly receiving curious glances and some unpleasant words for her appearance.
But Belle has learned to put up with it, and simply dedicates herself to doing her job. When she sees that the monster is a kind of squid, she requests permission to eat it, which surprises and disgusts some.
The monster is huge, and Belle doesn’t understand why it is so far from home. With a bang, the girl finishes off the creature, grabs a tentacle, and returns to Cyan.
At home, her teacher asks her what she wants to do with her life, and Belle tells him that she wants to find others like her. To do so, she must become an adventurer.
And to achieve this she will receive one last lesson from Cyan, and when facing him, sadly, Belle begins to forget all about her life with her mentor.
