Konoha is an illustrator who has always had a fascination with video games. Her dream job would be to work for a firm that creates epic tales featuring charming female characters.
But even though she graduated and got a job, her dream has turned into a nightmare rather than a reality.
Her employer hasn’t seen much success, so they’re trying to make a pointless video game with skimpy clothing for ladies in the hopes that it would at least help with the expenses.
Konoha is completely opposed to developing such a game, and attempts to expose her vision. An extremely detailed story, with very attractive characters, but after several minutes, her boss interrupts her and questions if she understands how much it would cost to develop such a game.
Konoha just wants to achieve her dream, but the looks and criticism from her classmates end up discouraging her.
Later, she decides to go out for something to eat, and as she wanders down the street she notices a small store in which she can see the distinctive boxes of some of her favorite video games.
When reviewing them, Konoha cannot believe the variety, and above all, the very generous prices that some limited editions have. She asks a lovely old lady if they are real or some kind of clone.
The old lady doesn’t know much about the subject, which allows Konoha to tell her about her history, and the impact that those types of games had on her life. Konoha’s mealtime is over and he tells the old lady that he will return to talk to her again.
After leaving the workplace, Konoha makes the decision to bring the elderly woman something to eat. However, when she returns to the location she had visited earlier, she discovers it to be empty of both the elderly woman and any goods.
When she enters, discovers a bag full of video games and a message addressed to her. As soon as she opens the box of the classic Doukyuusei, something happens, and Konoha opens her eyes to a transformed city.
As she looks around her, she sees people wearing clothes she hasn’t seen in many years, and when she decides to ask what year she is in, she discovers that she has traveled a few decades back in time. , until 1992.
Somewhat upset, Konoha decides to return to the building where the company she works for is located, and she sees that it does not exist.
She runs into Mamoru, a programmer at Alcohol Soft, who is fed up with the quality of the code that her coworkers share with him, and above all, because she has to use a PC with Windows 95 to do her work.
Konoha discovers that Alcohol Soft produces the kind of video games that she loves the most, and although she is in 1992, she decides to ask for a job, determined to develop the game that she always dreamed of.
