A lot is going on in our community, our country and our world. So much, that our senses get numb and sometimes we would like to unplug our brain and let it rest. It’s not easy, but you need to take a break if possible, hope you can.
The weather is announcing the impending arrival of a new season, and the Spring Anime Season 2025 is coming with a lot of new stories.
Everything starts with Takane, the student council president with perfect grades, athletic prowess, and unrivaled beauty. In Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san, Takane seems unique to all, including a below-average student with no friends named Koushi. One day, he bumps with Takane at the precise moment she is changing her underwear, without knowing, he has traveled back in time with her. She tells him that she has the ability to rewind time by taking off her underwear which then disappears. Now, Koushi is forced to handle her new panties as she requires.
In a different school, the Photography and the Cinema Clubs are in danger of shutting down. In Mono, to avoid it, they decide to merge and become known as the Cinephoto Club. Now club members Satsuki, An, and Sakurako are asked to be the main characters for a manga artist latest work. Thanks to it the girls head out to capture the lovely sights of Japan, experimenting with cool gadgets and eating local delicacies along the way.
Meanwhile, King Grey is a remarkable ruler, but has had a lonely life. In Saikyou no Ousama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani o Suru?, his time as king comes to an abrupt end, and he reincarnates as Arthur in a world of magic and monsters. Equipped with memories of his previous life and the desire to protect his new home, he begins a journey to become a strong warrior.
And talking about a rough life, Zenos was born in the slums, which has denied him almost every opportunity. In Isshun de Chiryou Shiteita no ni Yakudatazu to Tsuihou Sareta Tensai Chiyushi, Yami Healer to Shite Tanoshiku Ikiru, after an encounter with a healer, he decides to work hard to become one and finally catches a break when an adventurer invites him into his party. Unfortunately, he is kicked out and ends up opening an underground clinic.
Later we meet Lilisa, now the daughter of a real estate tycoon after her mother remarried. In Rock wa Lady no Tashinami Deshite, she enters an elite all-girls’ and is forced to abandon her guitar and rock music to fit in. However, her passion is reignited when se visits the old school building, where a skilled drummer shares her love for rock.
In a village in the remote countryside, Beryl Gardenant meticulously runs a fencing dojo. In Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru, he’s paid a visit by his former pupil Allucia, now grown into the kingdom knights’ commander, and Beryl decides to follow her to the royal capital to become a special instructor for the knights.
In a distant future, individuals who adore the old way of life live in a slum city that serves as a refuge for those who long for the civilization of the past. In Kowloon Generic Romance, Reiko craves for the new and exciting places in the area but her only coworker, Kudou, enjoys the nostalgia the city invokes. Despite their differing views, the two often find themselves enjoying each other’s company.
Back in our time, Himari and Yuu pledge to be best friends in the future. In Danjo no Yuujou wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!), now in second year of high school, they are part of the gardening club. Himari is so cheerful and begins to have feelings for Yuu, who is more interested in flowers. But one day, Rion shows up, she was Yuu’s first love interest and Himari feels threatened by her.
In the meantime, Hinata is glad to be back from another world, and thought defeating the evil overlord was the end of his otherworldly adventures. In Chotto dake Ai ga Omoi Dark Elf ga Isekai kara Oikakete Kita, Mariabell had other plans, she was his first and most fervent ally in the magical realm, and decides to follow him home, with her passionate and slightly obsessive love, she will turn his daily life into a fantastical experience.
Then we have a reboot from a long gone memory. In Anne Shirley, she is mistakenly sent to Green Gables, home of Matthew and Marilla, where she is adopted by them despite the misunderstanding. They initially don’t know what to do, but as they are won over by Anne’s imagination, their family bond deepens.
Jumping back to another world, we meet Sophia, the timid count’s daughter. In Gorilla no Kami kara Kago Sareta Reijou wa Ouritsu Kishidan de Kawaigarareru, 16-year-olds receive blessings from various animal gods, and Sophia is rumored to be quite strong, having received the blessing from the “Gorilla God.” She’d love to have a peaceful life, but people seek her out due to her immense power, and is even scouted by the royal knights.
Finally, we meet Liam, who lived as a responsible person, but died deep in debt and betrayed by his wife. In Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryoushu!, he is reborn into the ruling family of a vast interstellar empire, so this time he’s going to take what he wants and live for himself. But somehow, things refuse to work out his way. Despite doing his best to become a tyrant, his decisions lead to nothing but peace and prosperity under his rule.
