Well, it seems that as the year ends, we continue to wait for calm to arrive, but instead, we reach that part of the year when everything becomes more chaotic.
In terms of anime, the Fall Anime Season 2024 is quite loaded with new series or adaptations of some classic series, so it should be very entertaining.
Let’s start meeting Momo, a high school girl who believes in ghosts but not aliens, and she is friend with Ken who believes in aliens but not ghosts. In Dan Da Dan, they bet to determine who is correct, and decide to separately visit locations associated with both the occult and the supernatural. But things won’t go as easy once Momo is abducted by a group of aliens.
Then we find Chizuko, who has always admired her hero, Berry Blossom, a magical girl who protects Niigata City from the Evil Organization Fossa Magna, led by Chrome. In Acro Trip, she is fed up, because Chrome is quite weak and is always defeated by Berry Blossom. Thus, the public think their battles are boring. Chizuko wants to draw back attention to Berry Blossom, and somehow, Chrome asks her to join his organization.
Meanhile, in a travel agency in Tokyo, Takuya and Rika are coworkers, they’re both single, introverts, enjoying their lives at home. In Kekkon Surutte, Hontou Desuka, one day, the agency owner is looking to staff an office in Siberia, and non-married employees are the first to be considered. Rika is desperate to avoid transfer and convinces Takuya to pretend they will get married in a year, so they can stay in Tokyo. Who will be fooled?
But life can be tougher, Tsunehiro is a university student with a large debt, and his doctor tells him that he only has two years left to live. In NegaPosi Angler, his days are filled with depression and one day, Tsunehiro is chased by a debt collector and he falls into the sea. He is rescued by Hana, a girl who loves fishing, and she begins to share it with him.
Then we find Haruka and his classmates, who end up summoned to another world. In Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku, he is not exactly excited, especially when he is the only one who didn’t receive a “cheat skill” from God. Now, he is determined to enjoy his “loner” life in a different world using leftover bad skills, but once chaos begin between his classmates he will have to work his tail off.
Also in another world, after living a long life as the strongest and oldest dragon, it is slain by a human hero. In Sayonara Ryuusei, Konnichiwa Jinsei, the dragon is reborn as a human named Dolan. He works hard as a farmer and sometimes hunts for food, he has a simple life, but is surrounded by love, something he never experienced as a dragon. However, dangerous monsters show up, and he wants to find out why.
Later, Akira shows how proud he is of his MMORPG Infinity Game, suddenly, he finds himself inside the game as his favorite character, Demon Lord Hakuto Kunai. In Maou-sama, Retry! R, he encounters and summons various companions who join him in his journey, and his reputation as a Demon Lord spreads, turning him into a target.
In the meantime, Alicia hates heroines, and somehow, when she reincarnates, she becomes a villainess in her favorite otome game. In Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo, she wants to be the world’s most evil villainess in history. She is hired by the king to put Liz, the heroine, in her toes, and the more she tries to be a villainess, the more the prince appears to like her.
In yet another world, Noel longs to become a Seeker like his heroic grandfather, who slayed beasts from Abysses and explored far-off lands. In Saikyou no Shien-shoku “Wajutsushi” Dearu Ore wa Sekai Saikyou Clan o Shitagaeru, unfortunately for him, he has no combat skills and decides to establish a clan, and starts to convince assassins and heroes to work under his leadership.
Back on Earth, since her childhood, Yuki has been thought that her only worth is to be a cold, efficient assassin. In Kimi wa Meido-sama, after many years, now she has a chance to leave her past behind, and decides to ask for a job as a maid. The journey of a former assassin begins, as she learns what it means to be ‘normal’.
Finally, following the death of his mother, Uryuu lived in an orphanage and growing as a high school student, he aims to pass the entrance exams to the Kyoto University’s medical school. In Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi, to prepare, he comes to live at Amagami Shrine, thinking he will have peace to study, but there are three cute girls living there. The head priest asks him to marry one of his granddaughters, to help save the shrine in the future.
