In a fantasy world, Laios and his party are fighting a fierce red dragon, or at least that’s what they think they are doing.
The dragon is giving them a beating, and suddenly, Laios begins to think they have not had a decent meal in days, and that they are fighting sluggish.
Suddenly, his sister Falin shoves him away as the dragon prepares to devour him. Falin ends up bitten instead, but before anything else happens, she casts a spell to transport Laios and the rest away from danger.
Marcille runs to Laios wondering what happened to Falin and he says the dragon ate her. But due to its nature and the magic power in this world, he thinks they can defeat the dragon and still be able to rescue his sister.
But Laios plans end up broken when Marcille tells him all their belongins stayed in the dungeon.
Chilchuck, another party member, approaches them and tells Laios that two party members have quit and left them alone.
Laios reflects on what to do, he wonders if they could afford cheaper gear and food. Chilchuck doesn’t believe so and Marcille suggests they should eat first.
Laios suggests Marcille and Chilchuck leave the party, he doesn’t want to put them in danger to help his sister, but they think is crazy for to tackle the dungeon alone, and Falin is also their friend.
Finally, Laios tells them their main issue is food, and recalls there is a guide pointing out what kind of monsters can be eaten. After all, within the dungeon, there is a healthy ecosystem.
As soon as they enter, they defeat a mushroom creature, and it doesn’t take long before Laios hunts a huge scorpion.
Laios asures Marcille and Chilchuck that they can turn it into a delectable dish. But he cannot cook and begins to question what to do.
At that moment Senshi, a dwarf warrior, appears and begins to suggest them how to prepare the dish. Marcille argues it is not possible to eat a poisonous creature, but Senshi tells her wrong as he saves her from a slime.
Marcille doesn’t want to eat the dish, but ends up conceding because of hunger. Thanks to Senshi’s experience, it actually tastes good.
Senshi joins the party, wondering what he can cook with a red dragon, Marcille is worried and Laios and Chilchuck happy not to worry about food.
